Job Description
Our client is seeking a Sr. C# Front End Developer for their on line backup and collaboration tools team. This team is providing customers with an industry leading on line back up and collaboration tools product hosted in our cloud computing environment.
As a software developer you will be working in a small high-energy team, writing great software by using the best engineering practices in the industry today. Passion for all aspects of software development is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Design, Design, Design
- Work with designers, product managers, and other developers to create dynamic cutting edge web front ends.
- Design innovative, robust, scalable, secure, and globalized features and hosted services.
- Expand on the basic requirements to add innovative UI elements that make for a breakthrough user experience.
- Efficiently implement and own feature area with minimal technical debt
- Create a feature area that is test-driven designed, enabling efficient regression testing
- Learn from user research, feedback and experimentation to improve usability in future versions.
- Identify risks and mitigation for own feature area
- Effectively manage dependencies for own feature area
- Include unit tests for own feature area to achieve established code coverage targets
- Make regular contribution to test automation
- Write clean, maintainable code using the best design practices in the industry today (unit testing, source control, continuous integration, automation, design patterns, etc.)
- Communicate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth and proper rollouts of all products and features
- Provide Fanatical support of all production software on which you currently work
Job Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong C# programming knowledge
- JQuery development experience
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XML (or JSON)
- Strong web development and design experience
- Abitlity to innovate and stay ahead on the web
NICE TO HAVE:
- ASP.NET MVC3 development experience (including .NET 4.0)
- Web development and design experience
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Object-oriented design experience
- SQL database experience, (MS SQL Server preferred)
- Experience with source code control systems, including subversion
- HTTP/REST development and web services experience
