Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Web/Application developer with a strong background in building scalable, reusable, high quality and high performance web applications on Microsoft technology stack. The primary responsibility of the senior developer will be building and maintaining external or internal facing web applications and related utility applications. They will work with a team of experienced BA and developers in agile and self-motivated manner.

Technical Skills

• Demonstrate knowledge and experience on .NET Framework 2.0, 3.5 and 4.0, ASP.NET, ASP.NET application services, ASP.NET AJAX, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET and ADO.NET Entity Framework, mandatory 5 year and plus; Web Service, WCF, Silverlight or WF would be assets;

   

• Strong background on object oriented methodology and programming, C# is mandatory for 8 years and plus, experience on SOA, SaaS and IoC, VB.NET, Objective C, C++ or Java will be assets;

   

• Demonstrate knowledge and experience on JavaScript and related web technologies, jQuery and Microsoft Ajax library are mandatory, as well as XHtml/CSS; SEO and customer web site development will be assets;

   

• Solid experience and knowledge on Relational Databases, SQL Server and TSQL programming are mandatory for 5 year and plus. The candidate also should demonstrate capability for database architecture and design; SQL Server CLR programming and analysis service will be asset;

   

• Knowledge Experience on Windows Servers technologies, IIS 6/7 are mandatory; LAMP, WAMP or MAMP would be assets;

• Mobile device application development experience will be an asset.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is mandatory, college diploma will not acceptable.

   

• Microsoft certifications are a plus.
